Proalinopsis squamipes Hauer 1935
Proalinopsis squamipes; lateral view. The arrowhead points to the caudal papilla with one seta, which is very tiny in contrast to the caudal papilla of Proalinopsis caudatus. This species does not have a conspicuous red cerebral eyespot like P. caudatus, but a ring-like strcture associated with several ?droplets? (see insert) could be detected in the brain.
